Greetings from the Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (KASID). We hope all is well.

On behalf of the KASID, it is our great pleasure to inform you that our society will hold its 5^th International Meeting of KASID (IMKASID 2022) in Conjunction with the Annual Congress of the KASID. The IMKASID 2022 will be held from Friday, May 13, 2022 to Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO), Busan, South Korea. The year 2022 is the 20^th anniversary of KASID, and we would like to celebrate it at the IMKASID 2022 as well.

The IMKASID is one of the preeminent international congresses on gastrointestinal diseases. With more than 1,000 healthcare specialists on intestinal diseases from 32 countries participating in the IMKASID 2021, our annual congress established itself as an influential scientific meeting in the field of intestinal diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal neoplasia, small bowel disease, lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, functional lower gastrointestinal diseases, and the gut microbiome. At this time, the IMKASID 2022 aims to lead the attendees toward an in-depth professional discussion with the theme of ‘A Great Leap for Intestinal Research: 20 YEARS AND BEYOND’.
